James Zacher worked for over two decades as a human factors scientist at York University where he was involved in the design, implementation and support of joint research projects with NASA, the European Space Agency and Canadian Space Agency, while he successfully completed his Masters degree in Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science.  During his tenure at York University Jim also was the technical lead for a number of multi-agent provincial and federal coordinated human factors research projects.

Currently, Jim is a clinical hyperbaric technician and research coordinator for studies examining the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).  Jim is a registered commercial supervisor and diver who assists with the Underwater Skills program at Seneca College, specifically training commercial and police recovery divers.  He also coordinates commercial dive operations involving robotics and 3D imaging, invasive aquatic species remediation, and provides water safety support for movie and film industry.
